- 12th Men: PW Jackson (Qld) and CL Cairns (NZ)
- In the 46th over of the Queensland innings, Foley played a shot off the bowling of Allott which was caught by O'Connor outside the boundary rope. Umpire Parker ruled that the shot was worth four runs. O'Connor was not consulted in reaching the decision and there was no TV umpire for this match.
- This match should have been scored as 2 for a no ball as per the playing conditions set out in the ACB handbook. Instead it was scored as 1 for a no ball. If the correct scoring was in place the New Zealanders would have won by 4 runs.
- Attendance: 7843.
